FEZILLA STUDENT ARTWORKS
Below is a collection of works made by our students. At Fezilla we give students the opportunity to fulfil creative briefs or 'projects.' These projects are creative works that students undertake that are intended to span their entire term. Every new term features new or returning project topics. Past project topics we have undertaken are: Comic book covers, character and creature design, small products design, collaborative student zine publications, video game character rosters, random reference challenges, redraw challenges and more.
Students are tasked with channelling their creativity and imagination in order to complete the requirements of the term project. Over the course of each term, all students are given guidance and mentoring by our Head Tutor and Director Luke. Projects are worked on in the second hour of our workshops, after the first hours tutorial topic. In weeks 4 and 8 we do our project focus classes, these classes give students the full two hour workshop to develop their term project.
Each project is the product of a students efforts over the course of the term. They are intended to get students out of their comfort zone and challenge themselves with a variety of themes and topics. They are also intended to provide students with the opportunity to put into practice what they learn in each workshops tutorial hour.
